Exfoliate and shave or wax at least 24 hours before. Shower at least 4 hours before. Arrive with clean, dry skin—no lotion, oils, deodorant, perfume, or makeup.
How long will my spray tan last?
Most tans last 5–10 days. After your first rinse, pat dry and moisturize daily. Avoid exfoliating, long hot baths, and frequent chlorine exposure to extend your color.
When should I rinse my tan?
For Signature Glow, wait 8–10 hours unless your artist gives you a different time. For Rapid-Rinse Glow, follow your personalized rinse window. Avoid water and sweating until the first rinse.
What should I wear after my appointment?
Wear loose, dark clothing and open-toe shoes. Avoid tight waistbands, bras, socks, or anything that may rub the developing tan.
Is spray tanning safe for sensitive skin?
Reactions vary. If you have sensitive skin, allergies, eczema, or use prescription skincare, contact Afterglow before booking; a patch test may be recommended. Do not spray irritated, broken, or recently treated skin. For privacy, your artist sets up a private pop-up tent and explains how to change and position yourself comfortably.
